A study by "Lobby Control e.V. revealed that Goggle, Facebook & Co spend the most money of all industries on lobbying. The technology industry spends 32 million euros a year on trying to influence decision-makers in Brussels, more than any other industry. In first place is Google with 5.750 million euros, followed by Facebook with 5.5 million and Microsoft with 5.25 million. Only then do two representatives of the old economy follow, Bayer and Shell.
