According to a judgment of the Court of Justice of 28.10.2020 in case C-321/19, the component "traffic police" included in the infrastructure costs of the toll demanded (and paid) by road hauliers on German motorways is in contradiction with EU-law; it is now possible to claim reimbursement of this component. For the 2017 toll, the application for reimbursement must be submitted shortly to save the statute of limitations by 31.12.2020.
