Visitation rights during the pandemic

During the pandemic, the consent of the other parent is required for a flight with a minor child. The Higher Regional Court of Braunschweig does not consider a flight - during the pandemic - to be a matter of everyday life. For this reason, the decision must be agreed with the other parent. In case of disagreement, the judge transfers the decision-making power to the parent who is best able to assess the situation and circumstances of the trip (30.07.2020 - 2 UF 88/20).
