Dr. Marilena Bacci is licensed to practice law in Italy and Germany; she is admitted to the Law Bar Association in Bolzano (I) and Frankfurt am Main (D).
Activities
The focus of her legal practice lies in representing German, Italian and international companies in and out of court in transport, shipping and logistic law, insurance law and on the German corporate due diligence obligations in supply chain Act (s.c. Lieferkettengesetz - LksG). Furthermore, she is active in tort, liability and indemnity law (in particular damages arising from product liability and recall actions).
Likewise, she provides legal assistance to private individuals in cases of personal or property damage and financial losses (i.a. 4th EU Motor Insurance Directive). She also represents insurer.
She is a specialist in out-of-court settlements. Clients are represented before both Italian and German courts in civil and commercial disputes, IPR and EU law.
Memberships
She is a member of the Frankfurt Bar Association, DAV, in particular the Working Group for Transport Law; DGTR, Working Group "Junge Anwälte-NewKammer", which belongs to the NewKammer Department of the Frankfurt Bar Association.
She is member of the board of the Frankfurter Bar Association.
She is frequent speaker a/o moderator in Seminars on comparative law, especially in the German-Italian relations.
